Community Services

Want to get involved? Mamre Community Services Department is actively involved in helping residents of East Flatbush community, by assisting them through the distributing of food, clothing, and manual labor, as the need arises. In addition, a large number of care packages are handed out each year to the needy in our community, during the church's annual health fair.

The church and the Community Services Department assisted Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, Haiti and St Lucia, countries that were struck with disasters; (we are our brothers' keeper)Hundreds of pieces of clothing and several barrels of food  were shipped to those countries and more.

Officially, Food Pantry distribution day is the first (1st) Sunday of each month from 10:00am to 12:00 Noon.  An abundant supply of fresh healthy produce, bread, perishable foods, boxed and canned items, are distributed to our members and the East Flatbush Community. Hot meals are temporarily suspended each Sabbath. But supplies have been double at this time because of the pandemic.

The chief goal of the Community Services Department, is, attending to the physical needs of the community. Our mission is to witness and spread the good news of salvation. We must demonstrate compassion for others as Jesus did when He was on earth, and use these opportunities to offer God’s love.

We invite you to share in the mission and goal of this friendly and caring community church in East Flatbush, Brooklyn, New York.  Donations are welcome.
